Why I Give Particular Attention to the Back and Spinal Pathway

One of the reasons I dedicate careful time to the back and spinal pathway during treatment lies in the nature of the lymphatic system itself. Unlike the circulatory system, it does not have its own pump; it relies on rhythm, breath, and precise, guided stimulation to move effectively.
The back plays a central role in supporting this process. Along the spinal pathway, we are able to influence not only lymphatic flow, but also the nervous system—both of which are closely connected to how the body regulates fluid balance and releases tension.
When the tissues of the back become restricted, and the spinal pathway is not properly addressed, it is common to experience a sense of heaviness through the back, fluid retention, bloating, and a lingering feeling of discomfort or internal pressure. These restrictions may also affect the nervous system, contributing to increased muscular tightness and a reduced sense of ease within the body.
By working with precision and intention along this area, I aim to gently support lymphatic movement, ease neural tension, and restore a more natural flow throughout the body. This approach helps to relieve discomfort, encourage efficient drainage, and promote a lasting sense of lightness and balance.
Lymphatic drainage is not about treating isolated areas, but about understanding and supporting the body as an integrated system. The back is often where this process begins
